Headache from HELL!

I'm not certain exactly when or how it started, but by the time I went to bed last nite, I had developed a migraine headache from HELL. Pain so bad I could hardly hold my head upright.

Could it have been the fact that I hadn't slept at all Saturday nite; hanging around bus terminals in Orlando, Tampa and Clearwater, or maybe the fact that when I finally arrived home, I was too tired to sleep...... or was that bottle of champagne I consumed prior to going to bed the deciding factor?

The pain was bad enough to keep me awake most of Sunday nite and continued as I was preparing for work today. I walked the dogs and suddenly felt a few raindrops. It was starting to rain. I coaxed the dogs to "get moving" and by the time we came back inside, the rain had begun to intensify. I checked the morning news and the forecast was rain most of the day. That was the final straw.

I called in sick and slept most of the morning on the recliner.

It's now 4:00 PM and pouring. The headache is slowly starting to go away. I'm drinking champagne and eating crab rangoon...... a prelude to the Chinese New Year.

After all, it's the year of the dog...... and the pugs are of Chinese origin!
